Scramble 342 - delay in the UK

Post by Hans »

Hi,

It appears that the delivery of Scramble 342 (November) within the UK is facing a delay we can not explain (yet).

The copies were shipped to the UK 'en masse' early November and TAHS confirms that they have been posted to the individual subscribers within a normal time frame after they had received them without any 'issues' to report.

TAHS is currently investigating were 'our' Scrambles have gone to and we are currently awaiting the results of those investigations.

We are very sorry about the inconvenience this causes to our English readers.

All,

Regarding the recent delay experienced with delivery of issue 342 in the
UK, apparently this was because of a strike with Royal Mail earlier this
month, which caused a large backlog of parcels to be delivered, even
though the strike as such was already terminated some weeks ago.

But we are getting reports people started to receive their issue in
greater numbers since this morning.
We kindly ask everybody to be a little patient a little bit longer. When
you still have not received your issue in about a week from now, please
send an e-mail to info {at} scramble.nl

Although this is completely out of our control, we sincerely apologize for
the inconvenience!
