De laatste tijd wel heel erg veel drukke nachtdiensten gehad toevallig?

Het is nu in Amsterdam 13.35 uur en in Londen 12.35 uur. Uurtje erbij dus voor Nederland.

Kortom, negen uur Engelse tijd wordt tien uur Nederlandse tijd.

...vanwege "KopieRecht" vermoed ik dat deze documentaire niet bepaald voor eeuwig op JouwBuis zal blijven staan...

Als je dus niet iets met torrents of wat dan ook wil doen, zou ik nu gaan kijken of dit filmpje proberen op te slaan...

Uit het interview met Joe Sutter blijkt duidelijk dat hij heel veel weerstand heeft gehad bij de ontwikkeling van de Boeing 747,
zeker ook vanuit het management, dus niet alleen qua technologie.

Check voor het "motoren-probleem" even vanaf 35.00 . Nooit geweten dat Boeing chef-testvlieger Jack Waddell
de president van motorenfabriek Pratt and Whitney op zo'n "genadeloze manier" tijdens de vlucht liet merken dat zijn motoren bleven "surgen".

Toen Jack dreigde na nummer 1 en 2 ook motor nummer drie hard te laten knallen hoorde hij de CEO van P&W "I got it, I got it, I understand yeah, okay'...
Ik geloof dat de verteller, Boeing testpiloot Brien Wygle (vloog ook tijdens de allereerste vlucht!) hier zelf bij was...

Misschien is dit wel de beste documentaire over de begin -en testjaren van de Boeing 747.
