ex EHAM 17-02-2012, Boeing codes

And how do they create the code for the customer?
i.e B747-412 (SQ) --> B747-8??

If SQ buys 747-8s then they will be 747-812 as HV is also the customer code for ABC.

In every official Boeing document you can find B747-8 or B747-8 Freighter

According to various threads on the web, customer codes are no longer being used, starting with the B747-8 (and als with the B717 afaik).

But the British Airways Cargo (Global Supply Systems/Atlas Air) ones are delivered as -87UF's (7U being the Atlas Air customer code) and registred as such by the CAA...

Not true... :wink: The customer codes are still in use! (e.g. B747-8R7F/8KZF/8R7F/8HTF/867F/830/87UF/867F --- B787-824/881/81B/860/837/824/8DZ ..... & more )

There are various photo's on the web, showing the 787 type as 787-8 on the serialplate.

Can we therefore assume it starts with the 787 ?

Op de FAA TCDS voor de B747 staan de volgende modelen van de B747-8F:

747-867F
747-87UF
747-8R7F

Dus lijkt mij dat de customer codes gewoon nog in gebruik zijn.
Veel meer bewijs als een certificatie document zal je niet nodig hebben :wink:

Het 787 document laat alleen 787-8 zien, geen customer codes:

Deze is in september vorig jaar als laatste bijgewerkt, misschien dat dat nog moet gebeuren?
