United is upgrading the daily IAD flight from a B767 to a B777 again this winter.

KLM plans to increase the frequency of AMS-GLA-AMS this winter season from 4x to 5x daily with a new 07.15 - Fokker 70 departure.

This raises the winter frequency to the regular summer schedule.

KLM also plans to increase AMS-HEL-AMS from 3x daily to 5x daily this winter with the following new schedule:

- 06.50 dep. to HEL - EMJ - daily = NEW - replaces AY flight last winter
- 10.05 dep. to HEL - 737 - daily
- 13.15 dep. to HEL - 737 - daily

The airline is suspending its Seoul Incheon-Amsterdam Schiphol B747-400F service in November as it needs the freighter for a new service from Seoul to Milan.

KLM and Delta are commencing their coordinated Skyteam scheduling on ATL-AMS-ATL starting with Winter schedule 09/10 when KLM moves the AMS departure time of its flight from the current dep. 10.20 to the new coordinated time of 14.35.

Vueling schrapt opnieuw routes vanaf Amsterdam en Brussel

BARCELONA - Prijsvechter Vueling vliegt in de winterdienstregeling niet van Schiphol naar de Spaanse bestemmingen Malaga, Sevilla en Valencia. Vorig jaar beëindigde Vueling deze verbindingen ook, maar keerden toen in het voorjaar weer terug. De dagelijkse routes van Amsterdam en Brussel naar Barcelona worden tijdens de wintermaanden wel uitgevoerd.

KLM is planning to drop an entire transfer bank from its winter schedule. The latest Winter schedule 09/10 indicates that all flights scheduled to feed into and departing the 15.00-16.00 (3-4pm) transfer bank have been dropped. As a result long haul flights that have traditionally been part of this arrival/departure bank have been moved to earlier or later departures;
