According to luchtvaartnieuws.nl AMS will be linked to Rio de Janeiro (GIG) again. KL will introduce flights this Fall. No news about frequency, time and equipment. The plane will come from the reduction of transatlantic flights.

According Luchtvaartnieuws.nl Air Europa will start a 2 times daily flight between Madrid and Amsterdam using E-195 equipment.

KL made the following NATL network adjustments for winter 2011 (30Oct11-24Mar12):
AMS-ORD KL611/612: reduction to 5/7 74E (canx d24)
AMS-SFO KL605/606: reduction to 5/7 M11 (canx d24)
AMS-LAX KL601/602: from {5/7 74E + 2/7 744} to 7/7 74E
AMS-YVR KL681/682: downgauge from 5/7 M11 to 5/7 332 (d123_56_)
AMS-YYZ#1 KL691/692: increase to {5/7 744 + 2/7 74E} and re-timing to bank 3/2 rotation: AMSYYZ 13:30-15:35 YYZAMS 18:35-07:40
AMS-YYZ#2 KL695/KL696: suspended for winter; re-launch per summer 2012
AMS-DFW KL669/670: suspended for winter; re-launch per summer 2012. All affected customers have been re-booked on alternate KL*(DL) service via DTW. For future bookings alternatives can be offered via ATL, MEM, DTW and MSP. Shortest connection time is via ATL for both w/b and e/b flows

AMS-ORD sees no pax-service on Tuesdays at all, as United is operating X2 this winter.

Here some more news :

KLM resumes Rio de Janeiro service in W11
KLM starting 01NOV11 will resume Amseterdam – Rio de Janeiro service, a route which it has suspended nearly 12 years (suspended towards the end of 1999). In Summer 1999, the airline operated 3 weekly 747COMBI service on Amsterdam – Rio de Janeiro – Sao Paulo – Amsterdam routing, flight KL793.

The airline is operating service 3 times a week with Boeing 777-200ER. Schedule is loaded in the GDS and open for reservation at the 0900hrs on 15JUN11 (GMT).

Schedule:

KL705 AMS1040 – 1930GIG 772 246
KL706 GIG2140 – 1155+1AMS 772 246

This winter Transavia will use both HV and KLM flightnumbers on certain routes (non-existing KLM-routes that is). Not known yet which routes.

Ook de tijden en routes zijn sinds gisteren geplubiceerd.
Enkele korte highlights.
EVA air gehele winter met de 773
CX verlengt de vlucht naar Amsterdam nu dagelijks met Parijs. Routing HKG-AMS-CDG-AMS-HKG
CZ dagelijks een ochtendvlucht met 332 en dagelijks een avondvlucht met 772
DL de verlenging van de bombay vlucht komt vanuit Atlanta en gaat naar Atlanta
OR zie mijn post van gisteren in het ArkeFly forum in het preathuys
EK gehele winter met de 773.
MP: Op alle oude pax bestemmingen wordt nu een M1F ingezet;)
TK elke zondag met een 333 op de 1951.

Het blijven natuurlijk wel slots en zegt helemaal niets ;)

Wat mij vooral opvalt is dat Singapore een kwart minder gaat vliegen. Weet iemand de reden hiervan???

Misschien wat minder vrachtvluchten..
Just a long-shot, but could it be that Great Wall Airlines was maybe using SQ-slots or is SQ moving some flights to Brussels again?
