Strictly speaking, this event is not an airshow, so if the mods want to delete/move this thread, that's cool.

#SPOTLAX/Cranky Dorkfest is a spotter's meetup at LAX. Hundreds of spotters meet at the In-N-Out at LAX. One year, Delta passed out gift certificates to In-N-Out and that same year the CEO of United Air Lines showed up. The spotter website JetTip prints out a spotter checklist of notable planes arriving during the weekend.
