Just got an email back from Capt. Jensen concerning the spottersday.
He told me that also during the spottersday all the aircraft in the static show will be surrounded by the famous blue/white cones, so you can forget about any decent photograph of these aircraft.
Sounds like a normal Danish Air Show set up to me.
I believe the RDAF is fully aware about our interests (didn't we all tell them that during previous spottersdays?) as he indicated in that e-mail:
I cannot guarantee that there will be not be some kind of barrier around the aircraft on the static line as it will probably be set up when the aircraft arrive. However, I am aware that spotters would rather be without them but we have found them to be necessary. If possible, we might lay down the cones so that the barrier itself lies flat on the ground.
Of course we have no interest in providing the participants with the worst possible settings, but we have other issues to take into consideration too. I am sure you understand this.
I was looking through my log and noticed that I'm missing the reg's of the 2 Danish F-16's that was flying with the Dutch KDC-10 and the 9 Danish F-16's that participated in the big F-16-formation.
Even though the airshow was a year ago I hope some of you can help me.
