Either 9:30-18:00 or 10:00-18:00 depending where you read the information.

To get to the museum, take bus No. 110, 185, 259 or 280 from Českomoravská underground station (stop Letecké museum).

As we are a little off topic here (Caslav airshow), if you need any more info, send me a PM and I'll try to help. Finally, if you are interested in light aircraft, remember that Letnany airfield is within walking distance of the museum (have a look at Google Earth or similar).

Does any one know what advantages there are by signing up as a spotter instead of just showing up like a "normal" visitor?

I suppose, that the big advantage is that you will be able to be on the other side of the runway for pictures, with the sun behind you.

I wrote off to them within minutes of the address being posted here. No reply as yet. I've also asked them for more info on the package. If I get anything, I'll post it.

True. For a couple of hour you'll be allowed to go in the other side of the runway to take pictures.
At the moment they are still organizing...

Maybe it would have been better to keep the focus on the participants or combine the anniversary with the CIAF 2009 in September in Brno... One major event would have been better IMHO.
