I don't know exactly the scanner is or not legal. I think during the airshow it is illegal, but under the arrivaling it can be legal, but it is NOT 100% sure!!

The arrival days are the Thursday and the Friday, on this both day will be arriving and trainings too from the participants. In this Year won't be "opening scene", it will be different what calls: Capability Demonstration , we don't know the exact details about it yet... :(

There aren't dates about hungarian rehearsals unfortunately... This information is never published... :(

Normally they practice the flypast on wednesday. Thursdays and frydays are during the whole day to active for a big rehersal.
Check the photos of the new colors of the Mi-24 "716"!!! Just like the 117 but then better.
This show could be the big BANG of the european airshow season

as far as i know, it is not illegal while you are just _listening_ on the given frequency without transmitting, but i asked my ham friend about legal issues and i will forward his answer here.

Still unofficial information (however, the base commander stated these on a press conference): there will be no opening flypast this year, nor Hungarian MiG-29 solo display. Instead, there will be an "air force capability display".

As for the final flying/static list: it is still under preparation. Understandably, organizers would not like to publish such a list until participants are not at least 99% certain.

No Wings of Storm (and no An-32!) and no Orao... that's really sad!
The aircraft Leadfoot mentions under "+" have been on the list for weeks or months. So no extras, only cancellations.
By the way: no Awacs either.

But the "+" aircrafts added the flying list, not the static ! One really sad for me the Italian Eurofighter Typhoon (and a little Awacs)....

The Wings of Storm is usually supported by a Mi-171 to Hungary (not an An-32). The Oraos are still grounded after a crash. :-(
The biggest loss is the Italian Eurofighter for me aswell. Bad news but the remaining participants are great enough for a good show. ;-)

But even without Italian Eurofighter or Wings of Storm the show is crazy with many highlights! Could be the best show in Europe this year. I'll be there!

Wings of Storm is back on the list. Perhaps it was left out from the issued program by mistake. :)
