The international Sanicole Airshow is the only civil airshow and the only annual event of its kind in Belgium. The show is organised by the aeroclub Sanicole in Hechtel in close cooperation with the Belgian Air Force and especially with the Air Force Base of Kleine Brogel.
Each year some 30.000 spectators find their way to Hechtel to enjoy this aerial festival. Not only our program but also our public is very international with lots of Dutch, German and French aviation enthusiasts.
Our show gathers all the different aspects of aviation in a non-stop flying display. Besides the colourful military and civil teams, the noisy fighters, the training and transport aircraft, the helicopters, also ultralights parasailers and skydivers fill the air. This is presented in an uninterrupted flying display from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
We also have an international participation in our show. The best pilots and teams from Belgium, Netherlands, England, France, USA, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Turkey and Jordan… and several others show their best acts.
