Note there is some discussion about "29" being correct on the CN-AUK, but this what was painted on the tail, although a bit worn on the side I saw it from.

Regards,

Hans
Hoi Hans,
The serials from the hangar are the same as Andy's which is good news (no mispoles till now). As for the 29 see my pic, we need a teacher who can decypher ;-). Wat is it saying?

For the record; we saw the a/c from the same side, so can not add any additional info/confirmation.

Been doing some seraching on the T-37's, with the following result:

57-3586, c/n 40158
57-2304, c/n 40237
60-0082, c/n 40563
57-2262, c/n 40195
56-3529, c/n 40101

I couldn't find them in the Scramble database (probably wrong syntax), so I used Joe Baughers page. Funny thing is that he doesn't mention any of these as delivered to Morrocco. For searching purposes I completed the original US-serial, the Morroccans don't carry the first digit.

They are in the Scramble database as 56586 etc (the first one, 57-3586 should read 56-3586 in your list).

Does somebody know if there's any logic in the CNA-xx / CN-Axx registration system?

In the past
CN = Morocco
A = Military
CNA Moroccan Military identification

Now
CN = Morocco
A = Military
B = Military

CNA doesen't hassignifaction because has been added

Thanks for putting it back! But it looks a bit like "89" of which part at the lower right side is missing. But we saw it from the other side, and also noted it as "29"... weird....

Hans

ps; beneath the tail, it does look like "...-029". Anybody with sharper eyes then mine?

The 2 is the same way as the France used it on their Mirage-III's. People that visit in the past Chateaudun will remeber this.

I read the AS202 also as 29, but before we can took some pictures we were asked to leave the hangar.

Regards,

Michiel
