The race is on between snail-mail and our departure!!
Hi,

I send myself also the request by email and received your so called "read receipt" and got the postal confirmation letter this week also, so email
request worked also very well!

Hi, from outside you can take great pictures in Neuburg, probably one of the best "base appeal" for good shots!! ;)

I must be honest: don't care about not getting access to the spottersday. the posibilities to take pictures outside the base are much better and you'll have the chance to get a lot of different shots.....................

From what direction are the aircraft coming in for landing?

Let's hope that the weather is good, they predicted some rain for that day.

Further I've also stay outside the base, there was a mishape with the e-mail I send. I get the same reaction like Malcolm. So maybe it comferd you that your not the only one.

I'm very disappointed about the german spotters organization, they didn't even contacted us if we were accepted or not! and I heard that only 200 people were allowed admission which are to few for that large airbase.

I was expecting a better spotters day... very disappointing considering that I went to the airbase and stayed in the runway threshold for half a day of cloudy spotting...
