EHRD 29-05-2010, straaljager

Post by jos111995 »

Hoi,

Groeten Jos

I' am lucky these days: fly over the runway of a F16 at 1417 direction 06-24 and two minutes later back again.

Very nice!

Seen it from my house.. Awesome view, is there anyone who can provide us with some information about the happening?

Would like to know if it was just a return from a training sortie over the North sea, or a interception..

Kind regards, Jeffrey.

maybe this has something to de with it. Not that much F-16's airborne during the weekend I think.

Probably just flying around after or for display.

I've also seen a Lynx coming from ehrd. Don't know if it has been on deck.

The F-16 made an approach at 24, serial J-009. As far as I know no QRA or anything, just training.
Can't find a Lynx flight.

That is strange. first approach was on 06 with a 737 on short final 24. After that it came from opposite direction. It was certainly not an standard approach. It more looked like a flyby at the tower...

First approach on 06 and then 24 is correct. It made (indeed) a turn by the tower heading south.
