Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport - ESSA 03-01-2014

A grey day, grey ramp and a not so colorfull paintscheme, hidden between the Hangars of TUI and SAS;

Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle
Registration: SE-DAF CN: 112

And this one is just across the road from security point "GRIND 5" Next to the TUI hangar, with the paint scheme looking a bit sad, could be the rain and grey sky;

Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle
Registration: OH-LSB CN: 210

What will happen to this former SAS Caravelle SE-DAF ?
It was always in the SAS c/s, will they repaint this beauty in the old SAS Viking c/s again?
If you are getting older you will always be a little bit grey/white but she's still looking good for her age.

Maybe under restoration?
Engines were removed, only the cowlings were installed on SE-DAF.

Can these Caravelles be made from outside the fence of the airport or is ramp access necessary?

When I visited Arlanda in 2012 I saw them, but at a distance. So good for numbers, but no photos from outside at that time.
