It is nice that you guys got where you came for! Nice shots of the departures at SCL. Have a great flight back to AMS tonight. When you make it, Dorine is one of the crew, give her a big hug from me!

Santiago de Chile & surroundings (photo), Day 5 Navy

Last Teusday was the last full day of our trip. We visited ENAER at El Bosque and after we drove to the Navy airfield of Vina del Mar. The goal was to see the Bandeirantes and O-2's. Unfortunately the O-2's are phased out but we were very Lucky to see the Bandeirante fly.
Wednesday we left Santiago for Holland. While in take off we saw an Argentinian C-130 on the line.... Next time we will get out of bed earlier to check the airfield before leaving......

Hi Patrick,

You were able to meme some nice stuff in Chile! I hope it was that you were aiming for. I am not that much into serials but I happen to know that the F-5F is the 816. No idea if you knew that or not.
