Washington State tour part 2

Post by Nebbor »

Today was a museum day. First the Flying Heritage Collection, Everett. Fantastic collection, where do you find airworthy examples of Fw190, Ki43 Oscar, Me109, P51, Spitfire, P40, P47, Il2 and many more. I spent two hours talking with a guide about the aircraft. A must see museum.

Two of my favourite planes of the museum:

Nice! Good that you had more time this time for your museum visits!

And last the Olympic Flight Museum, Olympia. Inside some nice stuff was to be found but outside wasn't too bad either:

I love the A-12 in the Seattle museum!! Cool!!

Do you have a picture of the F-104 hanging from the roof in that same museum? (I see it in the background)

Thanks ;-)

That's a Lockheed YO-3A Quiet Star. Pretty rare bird in fact.

Yes I have a picture of it but it isn't a noteworthy shot. It is N820NA, a F104C in NASA colors.
