Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

To inform you a bit more... FAC already fly several former Chilean A-37's... and they have been much better maintained then the original Dragonflies delivered from US stock. The fact that FAC will slowly get the venerable A-37 out of service is that parts become expensive, and they look for a new generation jet trainer to replace both Tweety and Dragon.

F-AIR Colombia 2015, Rionergo (pics) thursday B-52 & AC-47

Hello,

On Mondaymorning the 13th, while leaving Colombia, I lost (forgot) my laptop at the airport. Luckely I got it back today thanks to my new friend Willem from den Haag. It must have been because I was thinking of the great days in Medellin.... I even caught a ride back to Bogota in the FAC B.727 on Sunday evening. When I arrived at Bogota the military got a bit upset.... What is a gringo doing here with his suitcase....

After looking at the pics today I noticed I forgot to put the pics of Thursday..... So after a quick edit here are some new types that visited or arrived for the show.
All the way from Florida and after two passes all the way back....

The FAC0002 braught the Vice president early in the morning for the opening of the F-AIR.

The 737 flew up and down to Bogota with military personell

A Embassy C-12 arrived early in the morning and left when the sun was nice (after 13.00)

Another nice visitor, a Navy Cessna

The highlight of the show for me was the AC-47. It arrived on Thursday due to some engine problems

Of course the AC-47 had engine issues --> wrong engines on that one!

Otherwise an excellent report. I still hope that this forum could come with a sound-mode, before all these exotic beauties will be withdrawn from use!
