Madrid Barajas - MAD - February 2020

Post by VH3D »

Hi All,

I spent few days at MAD for work. Had chance to do little spotting from my hotel room. On day 1 (below), I also took some pictures from the highway overpass in front of my hotel.

Consulting google maps, the car wash visible in some of the pictures would suggest the hotel is the Madrid Marriot. (correct me if I'm wrong  )

Yes, the hotel is Marriott Auditorium & Conference Center. I was only on the 2nd floor. If you can get rooms on the 3rd or 4th floors, the view will be even better.

Last day at MAD. Most of the shots were taken from the terminal.

Hi VH3D,
Do all rooms have a view of the gliding path / runway...?
Thanx,
Jan

All rooms along the highway will have airport view. Also rooms facing south east will also have the view of glide path. In other words, half of the rooms in the hotel will give you 'action' view. And no matter which floor (2nd 3rd or 4th) will be high enough to see the ramps at the airport.
