Dubai spotting (photo heavy)

Post by EC »

Together with Marko S. I made a visit to the Dubai airshow. The show was from Nov 11-15, we were there from Nov 13-15. The Show itself is not huge but for us spotters the good thing is that it is on the Int. airport grounds and you are standing close to the runways. This is an impression of the normal traffic that was seen during those mornings (the airport was closed for traffic during the flying display in the afternoon).

WOW, some amazing birds coming there. I expected to see a couple of Emirates (...), but you clearly chose the better ones.
Very nice and I am looking forward to more!

There are just a few A320's which have 8 wheels at the back, that A320's are operating mainly in the Mid-East.

Must admit, nice pics! But do you also have pictures (or a log) of the static?

The Double Main Bogies are ONLY operated by Indian AL. They have 20 or so with this landing near (next to normal ones). Initially, these were developed for the Indian Airports with less than good (...) infrastructure. No other airline ever ordered these, so to see them, you will need to go to India and surrounding countries. They also frequently visit Bangkok and Singapore.

Thank you for your encouragements, this is a second and probably final batch. I will open a seperate topic with the airshow pictures, I can see why Bokkum has an interest as there were many bizz jets. Still there are some in this topic aswell
