Amx 13th sq. Special color w.i.p.

Post by oldcrowteam »

Hi, I’m writing from Italy and I’m here to show you new project currently in progress...
We are painting a new AMX in special color scheme to celebrate 90th constitution anniversary of 13th sq., 32nd Wing of Italian air force.
The aircraft landed in Istrana, home of 51st wing, coming from Amendola november, 22. We have to finish next week due to the very close event celebrate in Amendola, December 1…

13th squadron C.T. was originally formed in November,8 1917 in Venezia, fighting in both world war. Temporarily dismissed in 1943 it was reformed in 1957 with F-86E and from 1975 with G91Y Yankee.

Following some pics from first working day…

A very bad weather is slowing down our work. Rain came into the shelter where we work...Next pic show the aircraft moved from shelter to nearest hangar to let paint dry faster as possible.

In order to speed up work we have to mask as the same time we paint

A nice project. You do have so many special coloured aircraft in Italy, I am kinda jealous....
Please send it over to The Netherlands when it's finished!
Cheers,

Hi Andrea,

Very kind of you to inform us about the progress by pictures! Keep us posted! I'm curious how the plane will look like...
