FT Lauderdale spotting (30 photo's )

Post by EC »

I made a week long spotting trip to Miami and Ft Lauderdale from Jan 16th to 23rd. The weather was changable but we had one good sunny Friday at Ft Lauderdale.
FT Lauderdale has a good mix of US and Canadian airliners with Soutwest, Jet Blue, AirTran and Spirit being the most frequent visitors.
I am not much into bizz jets so no photo's here but there are a fair number of Bizz movements.

According to local sources, Primaris stopped flying for Air Peru. This aircraft was seen on a flight for Constellation.

Frontier and Skybus each have one morning flight into Ft Lauderdale.

The holes in the fence near the line up are no longer there and you are not allowed to take a ladder close up to the fence.
These shots were made on a long ladder (6steps) from just across the road. In this way I had no problems with security.

Kind regards
EC

Nice shots, especially the photos with a dark cloud formation at the background and reflections on the wet surface. Also really nice tail of those Frontier Airbus's

And nr. 10, the embrear, is that the same type of aircraft KLM will get this year?

Very nice pictures! Some very unknown airliners for me.

Thanks for the kind replies.

Joost, I had some catching up to do after a number of years in a very busy job and an extending family, so I put the job on hold and have a lot of spare time at the moment. Will have to start working again before to long though. But to show what can be done in a short tome, Dubai and Mumbai were one action packed trip of 8 days.
