In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Nice! Japanese military planes are always very photogenic!! Especially F-4's!!!

Am I correct when I say that the first Phantom with the chute is a photo-reconnaisance aircraft? The nose seems to hold some equipment.

You're absolutly right it is indeed a recco phantom 8) The green phantoms in Japan are recce's and the grey ones are "normal" phantoms :roll:

Sorry Alex,

The second F4 is also green and is NOT a RF-4, so also normal F-4's can be green.

In fact it's an F-4EJ, modified to carrie an reccepot and re-seriald and painted jungle or lizard c/s. So it's an (R)F-4EJ. The first photo is an RF-4EJ kai :lol:
