Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Pratica 1998

Post by Bjorn320 »

Like the rest I'm scanning a lot of my old slides.. First up were the slides from the 1998 pratica airshow celebrating 75 years of Italian air force. I thought it would be nice, now 10 years later..

I certainly do. I strikes me that the colors are very good. How did you scan them?

Nice pictures from a great event. But i have to say most of the aircraft you saw active ten years ago are know preserved or stored at the base. Hopefully the 85th anniversary will be just as good as this edition.

I used a Conoscan 8800F, I told in the photgraphy forum already about it, I'm very pleased with the result...

@ Thijs, I hope this year will just as great in comparrison, I don't think I will see 9 F104's in formation again..

Hi Bjorn,

Can you also drop a high resolution scan ?? ( for instance 1280x1024 )
i am interested in this scanner as well and want to see what a big picture will do.

Regards,
Dino
