ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Tel Nof was static only, however, Ramat David the day after included a pair of F-16C's flying, as well as a display by a Navy Dauphin.
No pics from me yet, as reality has caught up with me first. :?
During the weekend I will post some.

Hans.

Nice report indeed. Don't want to be picky, so please take this comment not as criticism but as a friendly tip. The horizon in some of your pics seems to be off a bit. Maybe you can adjust that or take in consideration to include a horizoncheck in your editing workflow. Other than that, great experience to attend the Open Day!

Nice pictures! Great to see the openness by the IAF. As in the past photography was very problematic and they were even very picky about showing squadron emblems.

One thing I like especially is the very beautiful camouflage colors and patterns. It always surprises me that most aircraft these days are just boring grey while the best airforce in the world still uses these camouflage patterns. They will know best.....

And I was just glad to shoot the camo Skyhawk of Flight Systems in Wittmund. This one looks even greater with the star on it. Nice shots.

Thanks for sharing these beautiful birds. Also good to see an upgraded and re-serialled A-4N AhitM from 102 'Flying tiger sq'!

We did see this A-4N flying at Hatzarim.

102 stands for the squardron and his real serial is likely 332

Pieter

Hi Pieter,

According to ''our'' Scramble Dbase 102 should be ex 302. IDF/AF mostly upgrade aircraft in this kind of way.

Maurits
