Hatzerim museum 09-05-08 (non Israel planes)

Post by Marco »

as the museum is rather big and me not familiar with old warbirds and Middle Eastern roundels I decided to split of the non Israeli aircrafts.

For these planes I really need confirmation on country and type. Most of them I have never ever seen flying as they flew before I even became interested in planes.

The silver Vampire two seater carries an Egyptian roundel by the way, not the Pakistani one. The roundel was changed to its current dsesign following the overthrow of King Faruk in the 1950's and the formation of the United Arab Republic. This is why the roundels and flags of Egypt, Syria and Iraq are so similar.

Great stuff by the way Marco!

Hans.
