Amazing shots
The eagle and CH-53 are really outstanding shots
but I have to agree that the F-15 and CH-53 shots stood out the most.

I´m glad you decided to stick with the photography for a while so we can enjoy some shots made by you in the future.

Having spoken to Ofer Zidon (Israeli photographer) during early May, I knew what you would get in terms of what and how, but did not expect such image quality! Well done!
Were you with the Ian Allan group or did you make your own arrangements?

Hi Guys,

Thanks to all of you for the feedback and encouragement, it's much appreciated. I was looking forward to these shows for a few months as I love the light you get at sunset but was a bit aprehensive about spending a lot of money going there for an hour's flying at dusk (less than an hour's flying on the Thursday) and I'm really glad I got the shots in this thread and it's great to know others like the shots too.

Thanks again.

Hans Like I said above, I was aprehensive about going to the show, I had researched the show for a few months before going, I knew it would be tough but I decided to take a chance.

I arranged the visit myself, Ian Allan was supposed to be there too but I saw no sign of them and I've not seen any pictures from these shows taken by anyone else yet.

I've added a few more shots from Israel, none as dramatic as the first batch but nice all the same.

Regards,

Frank.

Well Frank, if I were you I would stop photographing aircraft right now! I'd say it's impossible to equal or even improve these shots a next time

Cheers,
Rob

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the feedback on the pictures above.

I've finally managed to put together a photo report with over 60 pictures from the two days (Tuesday 24th June & Thursday 26th June) and I've included a few pictures below I've edited since my original posts. For those of you who are interested the full report can be found here:

This F-16 was 1 of 4 that flew in a fire power demonstration and dropped all 4 bombs at targets in front of the crowd!
