Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Finally the A320 PH-AAX was not blocked by planes or bizjets and stands now clear for good pictures.

Some early morning action:

1. Some 25 minutes before sunrise..
Image

2. Some 20 minutes after sunrise..
Image

3. Later on and we moved to another location, I love the MD-11 :)
Image

Next time, please send planes during sunrise!
It was sort of busy with arriving planes before sunrise, but during sunrise there was a +/- 30 minute break..

And Nusty, you have to teach me how to get so much vortexes and condensation clouds!

Why care about the sunrise if, IMHO, this is the better picture

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

Thanks for the reply in the first place, you make me feel a bit shy  :)
I have a weak for the sun (and astronomy) and I think I am looking for a way to combine these two hobby's...I still haven't found a way to do it though ;)
I suppose I still have a long way to go, but Mark Garfinkel's work really inspires me...someday...

Hej da! ;) Jan

This is the first attempt to Photoshop a bit (convert to sRGB, unsharp, resize). Not sure if this is how it should be ... but I do like this shot with the moon in the background ...

Did anybody got a picture of the PH-BFL 'City of Lima', departing around 11:30 from the Polderbaan? Was my first time up in the sky and would love to see some shots of it! :o
