Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Isle of Man f/v to Eelde (EHGG)

Post by Heron »

Goodmeurnin',

though this helicopter already could be seen at Eelde this year, at that time it carried the registration G-DBOY. This has changed however, although very slightly. Instead of the many helicopters with a G- prefix we've seen at Eelde, this suddenly becomes the FIRST Isle of Man registered aircraft to have visited our airport :D

Even for some military spotters this may be an interesting visitor, because once it used to be in the Malaysian military register. Full p.i:
G-DBOY, N621MM, HB-ZEE, OE-XSG, N67SH, 9M-SJI, tudm M38-03 and 9M-TMJ.

(I wonder... maybe I should have put this picture in the topic "rotorblur"?)

Greetingsenzo,
Bert.

Indeed an interesting chopper (given the background)
I am still "chasing" this one, and heard that it lives in Belgium. But now the change to the Isle of Man register makes that less probable I guess; someone who knows what the homebase is?
Thanks in advance!

Ah, thanks for the confirmation! Do you also know at which airfield by any chance?
