Hamburg Finkenwerder 27FEB

Post by SilverWingPix »

Hey everybody,

I had a business meeting in Hamburg and drove down from Copenhagen early hoping to catch a few aircraft at the Airbus Factory before they went home for the week-end, and before I had my meeting. To my surprise they worked very late at Finki with activity pretty much all day. In fact till way past darkness (which ment I missed shots of some interesting frames)

Anyhow here goes - Help with missing details would be greatly appreciated:

First up was an Aegean returning to Fink from a test flight, note the RAT is deployed - D-AVZF/3820 to be SX-DVZ :

Next movement was the second Niki 321 returning from first flight - D-AVZG/3830 to be OE-_ _ _ :
Image

After these birds on of the OLT Fokker 100´s departed to fly some circuits, first time I have seen this at XFW - D-AOLH:
Image

The Belugas came in and out most of the day, and we saw three different frames, but hey they are the ususal stuff there and I decided not to include them here. Instead I have included some of the more interesting bits.
Apart from the aircraft flying there were a lot of "movements" of aircraft being towed from one area to another. The first one was this one - D-AVYQ/3839 to be D-AGWM :
Image

Next was this one which I always refer to as Pepsi Airlines. It´s colors remind of Pepsi and the correct name is to difficult to remember  - D-AVYO/3836 to be ? :
Image

Another one to be towed around was Chine Souther that was towed to the engine test stand for a first "light up" of it´s powerplants - D-AVYK/3828 to be B-6183 :
Image

Apart from aircraft that moved around of which we missed some there were a few that sat in the same spot all day without moving here one of them. According to the locals it is MSN17 and also according to local there were another six A380´s at XFW, but all hidden behind or inside the massive hangers:
Image

The last movement I witnessed before having to leave was an arrival from Toulouse. This was one of two aircraft due into XFW from TLS the other one being an Aeroflot A320 which was delayed till after dark - F-WWIX/3827 to be ? :
Image

The last two shot are documentation only and are heavyli croppped and shot at high ISO. Again it was aircraft being towed around but unfortunatly at some distance. First one NasAir - F-W???/3817 to be ??-?XT :
Image

The last one was in full primer - F-W???/3815 to be ????? :
Image

All in all not too bad I think despite weather  I always seem to hit dull days when I go there. Below a "full" list of what I saw, please dont hesitate to fill in the blanks:

Good afternoon!

The information I collect about aircraft comes from these sources:
http://www.rzjets.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (A380 info)
http://www.airframes.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hope it suits you!
