EHGR 21 Arpril

Post by Tomcat01 »

My first time out to Gilze-Rijen during an operational day since it was converted to a helobase. It's nice to find a base so close with flying activity almost the entire day. Here are some of the result from a couple of hours at the Langenbergseweg.
Hope you enjoy them.

Grtz,

Hans

Hi Hans,

some nice shots you made at Gilze-Rijen. How did it feel to be back were you once started?

Also me I was lucky that day. When passing Gilze-Rijen I saw an Alouette III helicopter flying around south of the base. .... so I tried my luck at the slopes. The Aloutte III is the only type I still had to get in front of my camera at the slopes.

After some waiting indeed this Alouette did some practise at the slopes and made me very happy :D .

1/160 would have made the first one even better (I like to see the 3 blades blurred, not a disc, but that's my opinion) but amazing pics nonetheless!
