I also visited the Aviodrome Museum on the occasion , but only on Sunday the 5th ,for a few hours. It was a happening which I enjoyed very much with a number of very rare , historic planes around. Here are some examples of the pictures I took:
(1) although the event was all about the remembrance of the London-Melbourne Race in 1934 , for me personally the highlight of the show was the running-up of the engine of the Fokker D.VII -replica !! Next time Connie again?
(2) A rare visitor was the Bucker (CASA 1131) Jungmann G-BUOR
(3) a Piper J3C Cub is also a plane which you don't see every day
(4) the Miles Falcon Major G-AEEG came over from Britain to attend the London-Melbourne celebration ; a unique sight in the Netherlands , of course !
(5) the Lambach II is a replica and belongs to the Aviodrome-collection
(6) the Cierva C.30A SE-AFI of the museum is the predecessor of our modern helicopter
My compliments to all the people of the Aviodrome Museum who organized this event ; I hope they will keep up the good work !
Bye bye for now,
Hans
