The unit could be EC57 which flew Mystere20 out of Villacoublay, maybe they also used a All.2 .

French Military Aviation (by Paul Jackson/Midland Counties Publications) 1975 and 1979 editions both give "57-MI" as c/n 1071. The "57" is NOT its unit code but the production number. Each Alouette II received a production number/serial commencing M1 for French military aircraft and C1 for others, so for c/n 1071 M1-57. Unit was most probably EH 2/67 as this unit used callsigns in the F-RBMA to F-RBMZ range and used the serial as prefix to the last two. After 1978/79 they were standardizing on "67-....." Unit was located at Metz, with a detachment at St.Dizier.

Dick,
By the way , as far as I know this Alouette II was not taken in October 1972 , but in September 1972 during the 10th NATO Tactical Weapons Meet at Florennes , Belgium....
