Traditionally Ascencion Day is the day for Wings & Wheels at Hoogeveen Airport.
Sadly the weather prevented some aircraft from abroad to come over, like the zebra coloured Do27.
Still... almost 50 aircraft turned up, though a lot of them were familiar to me.
One of the Piaggio-149's of the Seagull Formation:

Nowadays Cessna-150M PH-CAN doesn't have the "Aero Noord" taillogo anymore:
Another resident, the local glidertug:
It's not an awkward landing, but a take-off (Morane MS.880B Rallye Club):
This Brewster Fleet-7 came over from the Early Bird hangar at Lelystad:
Cessna T303 Crusader PH-VGA is the biggest aircraft based at Hoogeveen, although Soloy-207 PH-ZZF is also a contender:
Also based... Piper PA-18-95 Super Cub D-EHCB:
And this one also belongs at Hoogeveen:
Stinson L-5 Sentinel on picture 9 did a few formation flights with this bigger Stinson AT-19 Reliant:
Ulv's were there too, like this Aerospool Dynamic WT9:
The Aerospool Dynamic WT9 can also be fitted with a fixed gear:
Or winglets...:
A real Piper Cub:
Another Piaggio 149:
Pilot training starts early these days... Hang on, doesn't the instructor normally sit on the right?
What is a fly-in without a SAAB Safir:
PH-DLK, a De Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth:
Another Piaggio; this one, including bulletholes, comes from Damme!
And again the Tiger Moth... cause it did a nice flyby:
According my list I saw 48 different aircraft at Hoogeveen and I didn't even visit all the spots...
In any case a good day to practice shooting with slow speeds
