Awesome!! :respect:
So different than the ones from home.. (RTM AMS EIN..) You posted the wunala dreaming 2 times, you're missing V australia!

And this is airside, right? Because I haven't seen many pics at LAX with such wide-angles!

My favourite shots are the A380 and Wunala Dreaming Closeup! :worship:

Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Removed the double QF 744 and replaced it with a different V-Australia 777-300.
All shots were taken airside at LAX with 35-110mm lens.

WHOHO!!
Very nice shot!!

I think all your shots have good contrast and good colours. Like the saturation too. However I would suggest you to check the horizon bit better! On most pics the horizon is not level....
Thanks for sharing anyways, very nice pics!

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

Nice shots Ton, good to see some of the smaller airliners.
That Mexicana looks like it is parked on some local small field instead of LAX !

In 1 woord.......waanzinnig.

Het is weer eens wat anders dan AMS airside. Misschien dat het SoCal weertje zou helpen. hmm.

As stated earlier, all shots with 35-120mm lens as I was shooting on airside. The guys of the OPS dept really did do their best in order to get all the stuff I wanted... I assumed I would miss the landing A380 on 24R while driving near 25L.... No problem according the ops boys.. and I got it!!! Variety at LAX is really great, although United, Delta, Southwest and American are doing a lot of movements. Asian carriers are doing a lot of movements too, most of them with double frequencies, early morning arrivals and afternoon arrivals. Up to 6 QF flights, 4x 744 and 2x A380 all sitting idle on the ramp.
Eddy Cuperus asked about the location of the A318 of Mexicana. That is close to Worldway West. This is the remote parking area in between the beginning of RWY 07L and 06R. Usually daystoppers and delayed flights are parked here. Mind there will be a new taxiway R opening at the beginning of next week. It is situated next to the hangars at Worldway West. It will result in a new photospot which could be ideal as from 1400 to sunset. Enter worldway west and continue to the end. So far no high fences , but you will never know what will be there after the opening.. 4 step ladder is enough now for shots like at the V taxiway at SPL.
