20/10/10 Mach Loop "The fat lady has sung"

Hi all,

I had a great couple of days in the Machynlleth Loop so far (I'm still there). It started off with a rainy monday (only 2 fotos could be made :( ) but now the weather is improving. Tuesday started improving but still some rain showers. But we had a magnificent sight of a Tornado with a ''flame out''.

Wednesday, great weather, lots of sunshine, but very very cold... I got my first F-15's in the loop!!! Yeeeeeessssss after 4 years of loop visits!!! :D

Anyway some pics so far:

1. 19-okt, Tornado ''flame out", I only saw this happen once before at RAF Bruggen, and now it happened in front of us in the Mach Loop!!! What a sight!

2. 19-okt, A lot of Tonka's are out and about this few days.

3. 19-okt, In the morning some nice vapour can be seen.

4. 20-okt, This morning Valley was closed until noon.... then the Hawks came out!

5. 20-okt, A C-130K. These are very rare these days, A 4 bladed herc with refuelling probe.

6. 20-okt, THEN it was my little moment. Someone just said to me after a quiet hour: ''It ain't over till the fat lady sings''. Then... she started singing... and what a sound this was!!!!! My little moment in the loop, finally got my first F-15's!!! (F-15E Strike Eagle).

7. 20-okt, In total we had 10 Eagle passes!!! What a day!!

8. 20-okt, I guess after this last pass, ''the fat lady has sung'' :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :)

Neat pictures. The more I see these Mach Loop pictures the more I would like to go there myself.
