Dear all,
Last three weeks I have visited Texas and New Mexico (several museums and Air shows), here are some impressions of my “experiance” during this trip. Hope “Ya-all” enjoy them.
The first stop was at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum just north of Dallas. A very nice museum with several flying planes! The place is stocked with planes (inside), so photo conditions are hard.
Second stop was the The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History (Albuquerque, NM). Inside a nice museum. The outside exhibits are in a poor condition (take a look for yourself).
After that we went to the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), only three planes here
The next stop was the Border Patrol Museum in El Paso (TX)
The real fun started with the Airshow at Fort Bliss (El Paso), the next day!
Our next (short) stop was at the flightline of the airport (hotel) of Fredericksburg.
The next stop was Corpus Christi (The USS Lexington). The carrier was undergoing major overhauling at that time (not all planes where on exhibit or in the paint shop, take a look at the cobra).
The last and final stop was at Ellington Airfield (Wings over Houston Air Show).
That’s all folks....
Comments "R" welcome
Best Regards Roger
