27-10 Yuma Proving Grounds

Post by rogierottens »

Last week I made a tour with a buddy en on wednesday octobre 27 we passed the Yuma Proving grounds. We didn't took to much time here as
they are not that keen on spotters, so the pics aren't that good. But they are interesting. At least I think so.

last noted come from the scramble database.

1. two C-41's 87-0159 (l/n oct04) and 90-0169 (l/n oct02)
Image

2. normal C-130 from the Minnesota ANG
Image

3. two O-2A's 67-21349 (l/n may03) and 67-21414 (l/n jul98) and a huey inside
Image

4. a normal C-17 for paradrops that day

You managed to drive in,or was the visit pre-arranged?.

Moving off-topic,did you visit nearby MCAS Yuma?,and assuming you did, will the results of your visit be made available on this forum?.

Twin Otter in the back looks exactly like N125SA from Perris Valley. Apparently they hired some civy para lifting capacity.
