KFLL/FLL Ft Lauderdale 10NOV10

Post by invader26 »

Here are some of the modern stuff photographed at KFLL Ft. Lauderdale on Nov 10th 2010. All seen within a couple of hours from the friendly spotter parking spot.

Like your airliners shots as well, invader26!
And thanks for confirming the situation in which you took the propliner photos. I'm glad you were able to combine a family holiday with some spotting (or the other way round :-)).

Great shots at FLL - I hope to go there next year. Do you need a ladder in the viewing area, or can you shoot through/over the fence?

Thanks

Shooting through the fence (as I did) is somehow challenging. There are two parallel taxiways, so when aircraft use the one closest to the fence, it's basically impossible to take a proper shot without getting the fence in the picture frame. A fairly large ladder is advisable.

Heat haze is also an issue to address.
