In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

29-01-2011 Schiphol (AMS/EHAM) - Regulars

Spent a few hours alongside the Polderbaan this afternoon. Weather was good, bit cold and windy, but I'm satisfied with the results. I encountered many white and black lenses while I was there, so I'm assuming more people will post later this evening(?)

I can´t understand you are satisfied. If I see your pictures on a.net, they are far better and from more different viewpoints.

I hope to see some nice shots from Eelde angain.

Hello,
very nice pictures from both of you !
I was at EHAM , made the first photo-shoot with my Nikon D90 en Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD .
The only thing i do was put the plane in the midle of the picture. So you can see the pure possibility of this lens.
I hope you enjoy it. (I'm very glad with it)

but only to try my new bought
zacuto DSLR viewfinder...for filming with my Canon7-D.

The conditions were hard today. cold, a lot of wind and pretty foggy. Despite that, i think the light was magical today, slightly difuse, creating somewhat soft tones......

Hi David,

Thanks for the feedback. The reason I'm satisfied with the photos is (for example) because of the wingflex of the first 747 + the fact that it is pretty sharp (on my screen anyway). I got a decent set like that from today with about 50 photos, and I guess I'm happy with the results (in terms of sharpness, light etc.). However, I'm curious for what reasons you don't agree with me. Aren't they sharp enough, do they show an uninteresting motive, etc. Send me a PM if you'd like to elaborate on that. No hard feeling ofcourse, just interested in what I should improve according to you :)

Also, got a few from Eelde lined-up in the queue at A.net already. Hopefully they'll make the cut.
