ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Schiphol EHAM 04-02-2011

Post by wild weasel »

Very tough conditions today, both for pilots and photographers (some approaches had to be called off, and tried again). With no VR/IS and 7/8 beaufort, the photo's were quite challenging too

1- Even supporting my camera on the fence didn't help...
Image

2- saw some pretty serious angles today
Image

3- the plane after this guy had to abbort the approach, banking away to the right pretty hard and strange
Image

4- departure mc donalds
Image

5- departure mc donalds 2
Image

6- departure mc donalds 3
Image

7- like the green color
Image

8- old school style
Image

9- since the arrivals came in on east, i took my chance there as well
Image

10- touch down at east
Image

11- from a whole different perspective
Image

12- the end of a very windy day...

Nice shots!

I know I'm quite an EHAM noob, but what runway is photo 1 and where did you take it from?

That's just an optical illusion. The bird was probably nowhere near the plane, just in the line of sight.

Great shots mister!

If the first shot shows the Kaagbaan, where the hell is the plane in the background taking off/landing ?
