Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Schiphol [16-07-2011]

Post by Mark.O »

Went with a friend to Schiphol today.
Not a spectacular day, but with the Qatar A300 and the Cathay B744 was the day a success.
Please comment, to improve the photos.

Nice, but some of them are unscharp. Check your exposure of number 3 ;)
Also try to keep your horizon horizontally. And the last one, check your pictures that you don't cut of things of an airplane, like the emirates 747 winglet or like number 10 the engine.

Not to be rude or something, but what kind of remark is that? :?

If someone had a pic of it and had the time to upload one they'd probably have done it by one. Otherwise you will probably have to wait, or it's not coming at all.
Cheers,
Gideon

When I passed EHAM yesterday on the A4 Highway, it seemed a Delta 747 came off rwy 24. Anyone can confirm this? As I was driving I could not look all the time, but it looked like a Delta -400 :) Time was like 11.15AM

Cheers,

I agree with Ramon, a lot of close-ups or similar compositions, by cutting off parts. If you like that then be my guest :) Try and look outside the box with compositions and don't be hasty, the unsharp ones look like "movement-unsharpness", take your time when shooting..

@Cool T7 Erwin.. First timer over here?
