Yes i almost left the area. HWIC was expected at 1400 hours. So at 1430 no movements yet and it was much colder and darker the predicted. I totally forgot it was Z time. At the right time I spotted some 50-70 AMB troops waiting in the bushes and saw the orange disk at the LZ. At 1500 Sabres and Knifes on the radio and 4Apaches, 2Chinooks and 1 Cougar came in together. The Apaches stayed at 250Ft and above so not interesting for the pictures. The big boys landed and picked up the troops....WhiskeyDelta wrote:Nice set of photos!!!! A bit of sunshine would have been nice, it was very dull, grey and dark... but good fun!!! ...
