Ik heb nog een foto van een seconde later, heavy crop
goed is te zien dat er iets onder de kist hangt , is dit de tail skid ? komt die er zover uit en trekt die zich later weer in ?
wie kan hier iets over zeggen, igv vast bedankt

Dat dingetje is idd de tail-skid.
Voor zo ver ik weet komt hij samen met het landingsgestel naar binnen en naar buiten.

Dan is de tail-skid op deze foto wel heel erg ver naar buiten gekomen of er zit een gigantische vertekening in de foto.

het is inderdaad een vertekening op de foto waardoor de tail-skid enorm lijkt. maar het is de weerspiegeling door de "warmte?" van de landingsbaan. als je goed kijkt zie je tussen de 2 donkere stukken van wat het midden van de tail skid lijkt een ruimte zitten waar de rook van achter het vliegtuig zichtbaar is.

wel erg gave foto's van een tailstrike!!

this pilot was first not considering to return to Schiphol at all. While he did not notice it and did not think too much about it. As the flight continued to its destination and I did not catch its call sign, I lost it on the radio.

So in the end they did decide to return it seems. Smart choice I would say.
