Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Cheers,
Yes, i do have some pitures of them. I didn't visit the airwing platform so i don't know what was down there exactly, except that the platform was totally loaded with (super) Hornets. For as far as i know there were 2 present doing some kind of excersize of their own with local Hornets and VFA-15, VFA-94 and VFA-32 Hornets.
I don't have bunumber on the NH410, the NH407 was 166947.

Grtz,

Hans

I'm going to visit the U.S next september and wish to visit NAS Fallon and hopefully take some good pictures like yours. What are the procedures to get access to the base?

Hi Psaila, Email/phone public affairs stating your intentions, they are used to having photographers on base. If you have some media credentials this should be no problem at all otherwise it might depend on their schedule if they already have a phototour set up and you can join the ride so be flexible in your schedule. Fallon often is the place to be...

good luck,

Hans
