Reina Beatrix International (TNCA/AUA) Fly Aruba A320

Post by Een echte spotter »

Today I finally managed to get a good shot of N407BV, the Fly Aruba A320-212 (msn 407). It has been parked at the southside of the field since September 14th 2011 and only once did a taxi trial. Today it looked like it was about to take off back to the lease company, since Fly Aruba is on the verge of bankruptcy. The company has alledgedly not paid it's personnel the last two months and they have asked the courts to declare bankruptcy over Fly Aruba. While it was on the runway, I managed the shot below.... After that, the crew decided not to take off and taxied back to it's longtime parking place.
