Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

A Dream Has Come True !

Post by Katabatik »

Just wanted to thank Scramble to give each of us (especially avid hobbyist like me) a chance to expose our photo, to provide a nice display to the outside ... and an opportunity to be 'noticed' !

I have always been dreaming about the latest ... and guess what ? :
--> the dream has come true --> two of my photos published in this forum (in the Tiger Meet 2012 thread on 01/06/12) are now published in the NATO Tiger Meet 2012 Photobook. Icing on the cake : one of them is the closing shot of the book (Last page) !

Life is good. Hope my story will contribute to fuel your passion and dreams !

Rgds.
Erik K.

PS : I thought a separate thread in the Photo forum was a natural fit (the place where it all started), the best way to thank Scramble and to share my experience with those who have the same aspiration. Hope it is OK.

Are you perhaps able to post these two photos?

Yes, here they are. Personally I prefer the Tornados to be viewed in medium size and the F-16s in XXL !

and the closing shot of the book (took this one with the chin a few cm above the runway):

Thanks a lot.
