Frysian Day 2: German Air Force Base Wittmund 17.04.2013

Post by Tigerspoon »

After we've visited Leeuwarden for Frysian Flag on Tuesday, we've decided to visit Wittmund to catch some of the old Ladies, again. We were quite lucky with a lot of local flying activites. In total ten different Jet's within 7hours.

Phantoms: 38+33, 38+48, 38+64, 38+53, 38+28
Skýhawks: N262WL, N268WL, N432FS, N437FS
Eufi: 30+66

I'd like to show you some of my shots. (more to follow if you like)

Nice report, Marcel, but according to your log there were TEN (not NINE) jets flying that day (presumed you count the ex(?)-JaboG 31 Eurofighter as tenth jet.

And I also noted 38+64 (with a yellow/golden comete painted in the fuselage) flying as part of the QRA "Rotte".

Looks like it was a typo: corrected 38+62 to 38+64!! Anything else?
