BA110 Creil (LFPC) - Base visit

Post by Shabba01 »

Hello all,

Yesterday, monday 7th of october, GRAS organized a visit to Creil airbase (BA110), home of the transport squadrons ET01.062 Vercors and ET03.063 Ventoux. Both flying the CN-235. It turned out to be a very nice visit, with lost of sunshine, very nice company and guides who really knew what we wanted to see! Thank you very much for making this a great day.

Here's one picture I took:

Nice!
Everytime i see a French transport plane i wonder about the paintjob. All the French transporters look like they have been painted only on their delivery flight.
Even these CN-235's look like they were delivered in the sixties along with the Transalls, the same goes for the C130s.

How will the A400 look like in 3 months time?

A very successful visit it was. A big thank you to GRAS (Gijs, Arno) and the Creil base supporting staff!
