Hiya all,

just a few questions concerning your message (just a matter of preperation, last time I have been actively spotting at Twenthe must be over ten years ago...):

>04-03-2007 il-76 for transport

since they don't have any of their own, any idea which company will be doing this flight?

>05-03-2007 departing 6+2 spare f-16's
>numbers probebly are (ex) J-137, J-139, J-205, J-878, J-649 and J-652. >Spares are J-655 and J-360.

will these be departing with Chili marking *please* ?

Best regards,
Rene

last year there was an c-130,but i heard they don't come this time, only the il76td! last year it was the IL-76TD RA-76445 from Volga Dnepr (VDA)so prob this time to

the f-16's don't depart with chili markings because they fly with dutch pilots and there don't even have (like the last time) a new paint job with chili serial and star(behind a sticker)

more info will follow in a few days

Hi,

Is this delivery likely to be directly south and down cross Africa or through the Azores or straight over to the States and down, do you know, please? I was not aware there had already been a delivery so which way do they go?

Like to see them going over the house! That is, Stateside first.

Rick

last time the route was(what i can remember): Gran Canaria(Gando), Guararapes-Gilberto Freyre, Cerro Moreno. i think this time they take the same route.

the last time they took off at 0900lt 4x f-16 to Gando in trail with the kdc-10 from south holland till Gando the other 4 took off at 1300lt after 1:22 they flew in trail with the kdc-10 to Gando. 2 f-16's(spares) returned a few days later from Gando to Twenthe

the 3th and last batch for chili is planned end may/begin june[/b]

The KDC-10 can handle up to 6 F-16's. If the flight is greater than 6 aircraft, they have to split the flight in multiple flights with lesser aircraft or send an extra tanker.

The flight consists of 6 aircraft so they can make it in one flight.
