Malaga (AGP/LEMG) 2023

Post by PH-AVR »

Malaga airport is the main entry way to Andalusia, Costa del Sol and southern Spain. There is a constant stream of airliners landing here from around Europe plus a decent amount of bizjets. I had little time so just short logs around my arrival and departure but it is worth to spend some time here. Finally had time to visit the aviation museum at the airport before dropping my rental car a few hundred meters further. Plus side that it has free entry and free parking plus one can see the landing traffic at runway 31 (and some bizjets parked nearby). Downside is that it is popular with families so not always easy to get clear photos. Don't miss the Dakota that is a little out of sight so most families didn't visit/spoil my photos :-) Follow the C-47 signs or look at google maps beforehand.
cheers
Anton

The C-130 should be TC-64 (FAA) which arrived from Cyprus on it's way back to Argentina.

Thanks Sjoerd! Would be really nice if this could be confirmed!
